The concept of Disability Mainstreaming has emerged in the sphere of social and development policies, representing a complex reading approach that adopts disability as a transversal dimension (EU, 2010; AICS, 2018, Griffo, 2018). The Disability Mainstreaming Approach responds to the challenges that the academic world has been facing for some time now. On one hand, challenges related to the centrality that the inclusive didactics is assuming in terms of qualification of the processes of learning-teaching; on the other, challenges related to the growing importance held by the Third Mission (Boni, Walker, 2016). Therefore, the academic context offers a fertile ground for formulating innovative and functional training proposals for the preparation of professional profiles that can fully assume the irreducible perspective of complexity and inclusion. It is also positive that only the radical adoption of a cooperative approach that respects local development paths can prevent a future of imbalances, of conflict and ultimately of war.
