Since WWII international co-production have become an increasingly important mode for producing feature films. Thus, a large corpus of critical literature in various disciplines, from cinema and media studies to sociology to cultural economics, have focused on co-productions in the movie industry, with projects that investigated the cultural influences, the economic implications, and the performances of film co-productions. However, very little has been written on the exchange of technical and commercial knowledge between the co-production partners. Drawing on the theoretical framework of transnational media studies and on the economic concept of Knowledge Exchange (KE), this paper aims to analyze the performance and the exchange knowledge in the context of Italian-European co-productions, through the qualitative methodology of the case study. The findings of this study can offer a better understanding of the co-production phenomenon.

Abstract
The findings of this study can offer a better understanding of the co-production phenomenon.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
